Two words: Baking soda! It’s cheap, you always have some handy and it’s so versatile! This works for almost any stain, especially for pet stains. It neutralizes the acids in the stain and deodorizes at the same time. Obviously the sooner you can treat the stain the better. First sprinkle some baking soda on the stain, and brush it in, rinse with water, repeat if necessary and let it dry.
